The City of London Corporation has launched an online ‘Covid-19 Business Support Hub’ to help businesses in the Square Mile navigate the financial support available to them during the pandemic.

The hub, which has been developed in partnership with the City of London’s business improvement districts, will provide businesses with information on the financial support available to them, as well as practical advice on how to access it.

It will also provide links to a range of other resources, including advice on the government’s furlough scheme, business rates relief and the Coronavirus Business Interruption Loan Scheme.

The hub is part of the City of London Corporation’s ongoing commitment to supporting businesses in the Square Mile, and follows the launch of its ‘City at Work’ campaign, which was designed to help businesses in the area to survive and thrive during the pandemic.

The City of London Corporation’s Policy Chair, Catherine McGuinness, said: “We are committed to supporting businesses in the Square Mile, and this new online hub will provide businesses with the information and advice they need to access the financial support available to them.

“The City of London Corporation is working hard to ensure that businesses in the Square Mile are able to survive and thrive during the pandemic, and this new hub will help us to do just that.”
